Vendula Safarova

is a professional photographer with many years of experience. The biggest influence in her career has been her mother who is a photographer in the Czech Republic. From the age of 6 she had her first camera and has been taking pictures ever since.

Proficient in the full range of photography skills, including developing and editing. Working with colour, black & white and digital photography.

• Studied Photography 1994-1997 (Czech Republic)
• Artistic School of Graphic (SUSG) 1997-2000 (Czech Republic)
• Degree in Photography

Work Experience

• After graduating, worked in the field for three years in studio in Czech Republic
• In 2001 came to London and started working  as a freelance photographer
• Since then have done numerous weddings, christenings, birthday parties, exhibitions, bands etc.
• Family and children portraits
• Lidove Noviny (Czech Newspaper)
• Portraits for TV personalities: Michael Higgs (Eastenders), Caroline Catz (Doc Martin, Murder in Suburbia), Joanna Lumley (Absolutely Fabulous).

• Resent clients/ venues include: The Banking Technology Awards, Grosvenor House Hotel, Kenwood House, Marriott Hotel, Landmark Hotel, the Old Marylebone Town Hall (Westminister).
